I have some awesome news to share!
I have been awarded the Third Place in the Unpublished Category for my entry to the Poster Contest Showcase at the New England SCBWI Conference, last weekend!
The challenge: A Whole New World
How do you go about building an entire world in just one image? How do you use illustration to "keep it real" ?
Congratulations to Milanka Reardon, who was awarded the First Place; and to A.P. Sabourin, who was awarded the Sencond Place!
This year, over fourty posters were judged by a panel of professionals that included award winning illustrators Harry Bliss and Dan Yaccarino.
Marcela, I am so proud know such a talented artist - your poster took my breath away! Congratulations, and keep up the amazing work!
